Collaboration Agreement between the University of La Laguna and GORONA DEL VIENTO EL HIERRO, S.A.

The aim of this agreement is to regulate the conditions under which the University of La Laguna grants to GORONA (for the purposes of research) the rights of use to national patent P200801298, entitled Unit for the Capture of Marine Energy, and its extension to Europe nº EP09733759.6 for the development of the project mentioned in the explanatory section of the present agreement, and for the duration of the same. Please refer to

General Action Protocol between the University of La Laguna, Gorona del Viento and the Consortium to Design, Constuct, Equip and Exploit the Canary Islands’ Ocean Platform.

The aim of this General Action Protocol is to set the general parameters for collaboration between the Parties, and to formalise the specific programmes of cooperation and development to be established, in accordance with the objectives assigned to each of the Parties. By agreement of the Parties, the particular agreements to be formalised in the future (as a result of this general action protocol) may include the participation of the resources at the disposal of the signatories to develop the proposed actions and activities. Framework agreement with Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The aim of the present agreement is to regulate the scientific and cultural/scientific-technological framework for collaboration between the Universidad de las Palmas Gran Canaria and Gorona del Viento Gorona del Viento El Hierro, S.A. to fulfil the following objectives: a) the development and dissemination of education and culture at a general level between both institutions and b) the development of higher education and scientific and technological research. The scope of the collaboration is determined, in each case, by the availability of resources of each of the organisations — as well as by the degree of priority required by their own programmes that are in progress. Please refer to

Action framework agreement between the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias S. A. and Gorona del Viento El Hierro, S.A. for the joint design and presentation of R&D projects.

The general aim of the present Agreement is to set the parameters for collaboration between the ITC and Gorona, to allow the joint design and presentation of R&D projects on the island of El Hierro. This collaboration aims to create the ideal conditions to allow the development of significant objectives on the Island of El Hierro — including the following: *Collaboration to jointly develop the 100% Renewable Energies initiative on the island, seeking to exploit to the maximum the potential offered by the El Hierro Wind-Pumped Hydro Power Station, as well as the development of marketing, technological strategy, scientific-tourism strategy and the exploitation of knowledge of the Power Station at a worldwide level among other things. *Collaboration to seek funding through programmes and convocations at both a National and a European level, and to seek partners, to allow scientific-technological projects to be undertaken in the fields of energy-saving, energy diversification, exploitation of renewable energy sources, and respect for the environment that affect the Island of El Hierro. *Collaboration to train students, both from Spain (with particular attention to students from the Island of El Hierro) and from abroad, who can be trained in the fields relevant to this collaboration. For the development of this Agreement, the Parties will make available the necessary qualified technical staff, provided that these are available at the time to undertake activities to support the present Collaboration Agreement. Please refer to

Cooperation agreement between Cardenal Herrera CEU and Gorona del Viento El Hierro, S.A. for the undertaking of training placements by students of the University.

Under the present Agreement, students from CEU-UCH may undertake work placements at Gorona del Viento El Hierro, S.A., to enable them to complete their university education. Please refer to

Agreement for the development of an educational cooperation programme with the Gipuzkoa School of Engineering. Department of Éibar UPV/EHU (University of the Basque Country) and Gorona del Viento El Hierro, S.A.

The present Educational Cooperation Agreement is signed, in accordance with the terms of Royal Decree 592/2014, 11 July (which regulates external academic work placements for university students), and by the UPV/UHU Regulator for External Student Practical Academic Placements.

Special Cooperation Accord for Workplace Training Garoé IES (Comprehensive School).

The aim of the particular collaboration agreement is to execute a workplace training programme under the professional Training module for courses taught in the educational institution, when the type of task undertaken in the company permits the syllabus of the said module in an acceptable form, and in accordance with the professional profile that the students need to achieve in relation to the courses they are pursuing.
